Default M3 Clutch and Flywheel Without Master Cylinder

Well I just got the parts to go my M3 clutch swap and was wondering if anyone has run the M3 clutch and flywheel without the M3 master cylinder. I know everyone recommends that you use the M3 MC, but is it really necessary? I know it will make the clutch easier to use, but will it be impossible to use without the MC? I am used to driving Mustangs and Camaros with heavy clutches and would really like a stiffer clutch pedal in my car. I'm just making sure I will be able to drive the car without the MC. TIA.
