Hey, my A/C condensor is puncture due to a mishap on the track that made me go through a field. ANYWAYS, the A/C rad pushed the support bracket back. I want to take it off and straighten it out. Can i remove it without the risk of the airbags going off on me? __________________ 1995 318ti Jetblack - m3 CSL replica bumper - m3 side skirts - AC schnitzer lip spoiler - m3 clear side and signal markers - rear tints -328 callipers+rotors+pads | | | 03-25-2008, 12:25 AM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2007 Location: asdfasdf Posts: 10,002 | if you disconnect the battery the airbag won't go off no matter what | | | 03-25-2008, 12:55 AM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: state college, pa Posts: 3,431 | Leave it disconnected 30 minutes before you work on anything--there's still a charge stored in the capacitors that fire the airbag. __________________ I scream, you scream, we all scream for ZOMBIES. | | | 03-25-2008, 01:53 AM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2006 Location: Pittsburgh, PA Posts: 1,224 | umm, yes, you can remove that without risk of airbags deploying or disconnecting your battery. There's nothing involved with that assembly that will deploy airbags. | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
