After you guy's converted (swaped motors), have any of you heard metalic or almost like you ran over something when you slow down or apply your breaks after accelerating? It also happens when I am just crusing at a set speed. I had it looked at, And the shop said that it happens with all conversion cars. | | | 01-12-2006, 07:20 PM | #2 | Moderator Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Bouncing off the rev limiter in CT! If its from the rear it could be your diff. In the middle could be your tranny, clutch, etc. __________________ S50 Swap, Euro 3.5" HFM (MAF), my custom Chip, Cosmo CAI, Custom Exhaust, 6 Cyl. Like I said earlier, I had it checked out where I got the swap done and they said that it is common for all conversion cars to have funny noises. Is it just me or does that just not sound right. | | | 03-03-2006, 08:47 PM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2004 Location: Fort Worth, TX Posts: 234 | the only strange noise i get is from the vanos. it sounds like 'marbles in a can' at idle. i even replaced the vanos and it helped a bit but it is still noticeable. has anyone else experienced this? if so how did you get rid of it? __________________ | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
