Default transmission oil
hey what kinda transmission oil do you guys recommend for my 96 auto after changing my radiator i lost some oil from when i took out the transmission oil lines now my transmission is acting up im sure thats the problem but Not sure what kinda oil to use and how many liters

Isn't this information found in your owner's manual, or perhaps the Bentley repair manual?
Different automatics call for different transmission fluids, although some fluid manufacturers have multi-car fluids, like Castrol Import Multi-Vehicle ATF. I am NOT suggesting that you use this - just that it's out there. Find the proper fluid, please.

If you're just topping it off, I'd use the BMW recommended oil that's stated on the bottom of the large transmission pan. Be sure to follow the level checking procedure exactly.
