Default Am I TOO TALL for a 318ti?

I just sold my 1990 Mercedes 300e and I'm thinking about switching to a 318 ti (Spare me the MB hating drabble please, I'm a fan of German cars in general), My question is will I even FIT in a 318ti. I'm 6'3" and 240lbs. I had ample room in my 300e, which is close to the size of a 525.. Do you think I'll be comfortable in a 318? I was looking at some on craigslist and I don't want to waste the time of a seller going all the way down there to find out I dont even fit in the car.

I am 6'3", but weigh a little less. I found that I always had problems fitting comfortably in anything but a german car (VW, BMW, MBZ...) I suspect that you will feel quite comfy in a 3 series car... Even more so if you get one with sport seats (even more adjustable!).

good luck with the purchase but im willing to bet something is wrong with the car for 1900 bucks. run the vin its either going to be a restored title or some crazy mechanical problem... but if its clean thats one hell of a find.

I bought my ti sight unseen off ebay a few years ago.

On the way to pick it up I started worrying I might not fit into such a small car!

I was happy to find out it was not a problem. 6'2".

I got mine for $1800, no problems with it if you were worried about how cheap it was

I'm 5'8" so I can't help you on there
