I just sold my 1990 Mercedes 300e and I'm thinking about switching to a 318 ti (Spare me the MB hating drabble please, I'm a fan of German cars in general), My question is will I even FIT in a 318ti. I'm 6'3" and 240lbs. I had ample room in my 300e, which is close to the size of a 525.. Do you think I'll be comfortable in a 318? I was looking at some on craigslist and I don't want to waste the time of a seller going all the way down there to find out I dont even fit in the car. | | | 04-29-2010, 06:57 AM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2008 Location: Gilbert Posts: 621 | the seats pretty dang adjustable. and at 6'3 id figure its not that ur a wide person at 240 just tall and average fatness i guess you could say so yea. my cousins 6 2ish and has plenty of head room with the seat down. __________________ *IF ITS FAST AND CHEAP, ITS NOT RELIABLE* *IF ITS CHEAP AND RELIABLE, ITS NOT FAST* *IF ITS FAST AND RELIABLE, ITS NOT CHEAP* | | | 04-29-2010, 07:04 AM | #3 | Junior Member Join Date: Apr 2010 Location: So. I found that I always had problems fitting comfortably in anything but a german car (VW, BMW, MBZ...) I suspect that you will feel quite comfy in a 3 series car... Even more so if you get one with sport seats (even more adjustable!). __________________ James 95 active w/leather interior and sport interior conversion, Vaders, full M-Tech exterior conversion. On the way to pick it up I started worrying I might not fit into such a small car! I was happy to find out it was not a problem. 6'2". __________________ ... ʎɐqǝ uo pɹɐoqʎǝʞ ɐ ʎnq ı ǝɯıʇ ʇsɐן ǝɥʇ sı sıɥʇ | | | 04-29-2010, 03:56 PM | #12 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2010 Location: Atlanta Posts: 233 | 6'3" 220 here, no problems whatsoever __________________ -PTS- "Some people like cupcakes better.
