On the good side it looks really sharp on the outside and seemed like the engine was good. What do you guys think? the only part im really worried about is the noise it made when turning.. hes asking $3400. I am ok with putting like $500 into it in order to fix the problems and im pretty good with fixing things myself. Im not sure if this is a good deal or not because im not very familiar with bmws. | | | 02-20-2011, 02:25 AM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2010 Location: Wichita Falls, Texas Posts: 1,364 | I would not give more than $3,000 for the car. The mods it has makes me think that it has been driven hard, and the rest of your description makes me think that it hasn't been well maintained. You'll spend more like a $1,000 getting it back in shape. Try looking for bone stock car being sold by a non-enthusiast who could afford to keep the car well maintained. And remember the adage: Buy the best car that you can afford rather than buying a cheaper car then having to put money into it. Good luck with your ti hunt. I bought my first ti just before Christmas and couldn't be happier with it. | | | 02-20-2011, 06:54 PM | #3 | Junior Member Join Date: Feb 2011 Location: IL Posts: 4 | thanks for the advice. i know youre right but i cant help but want to buy it... ill give it time to settle. congrats on your ti im glad everything worked out for you. | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
