Default Radiator Fan Switch

I have found some really great info on the Rad fan switch but i want to confirm the location of it before i replace the wrong part. But what i have gathered from the info i have found that it is located on the side of the Radiator passenger side. Am I correct? Maybe a picture would help. Also I read that I could put a 80/88 temp switch in is this a good mod or is this the standard temp. Thanks in an advance.

You are correct on the location. 80/88 is stock temp for the ti.

That's never a bad idea...

Also, be careful when removing/installing the switch- the switch is brass; the radiator, however, is only plastic... over-tighten it and you'll be replacing more than a fan switch.

I have read that turning on the a/c, starts the fan. Does the fan ever run without the a/c on?

Yea it runs just fine the issue I am having is the fan comes on to late. The temp needle will raise to 3/4 and then the fan will come on and then it will go back to half. Big scare the first time it did that. Po did a cooling refresh on it. So no worry about the cooling system. Just the fan coming on to late. That why the Rad switch replacement
