Got up to 46th with our anemic 318is automatic then our ex motorcycle racer spun being aggressive and sheared the engine and transmission mounts. Got it into pits under its own power and me and two others swapped out mounts got it back out on track for 4.5 more hours.

We came back out in 78th and finished up 59th. Not bad for our first outing with an untried rookie team and car.

Not bad at all! I like the extra passenger on the roof of the ti!

Yeah they have a bit more HP than our m42 car, they are S52 with a getrag 260 and 3.73 so they are quite a bit faster.

I bought another Ti hopefully this week for 280 with toasted engine. It's gonna be my new Lemon's team ride. Parting ways from my current as they don't have the same drive and goals that I do.

Expect to spend up to 5K for your first event. It depends on your level of skills. Our team paid for a quality roll cage. Everyone commented on how nice it was when going through tech inspection.

In honesty most money is spent on safety gear and fees. So after your first race the costs go down drastically unless you bring in another driver or you damage your car.

We have another driver coming in so we are charging him 750 to join but that gives him access to the car.

so when a driver buys in are damages split between them or is the driver that does the damage responsible? who owns the car at the end of the season. Seems like a great way to get started!

We have an agreement that damages are split hence why entry fee on to the team.
