In the never ending race to have newer rims than Bryan, I just picked up a set of BBS style 42's... This means, I now have these, an original color set of Style 5's (currently on the ti), a custom color set of style 5's (black and violet), a set of M-Pars (currently on my touring) and the OEM rims from the 525it... 5 sets of rims, 2 cars. I must be crazy! What to do now? Suggestions? __________________ James 95 active w/leather interior and sport interior conversion, Vaders, full M-Tech exterior conversion. Guy lives 5 minutes from me, too... Quick text, and presto, they are in the back of my truck! (Got them so cheap I could double my money in an hour...) Now I am trying to come up with the best combo of wheels and tires for both cars based on what is in my garage... __________________ James 95 active w/leather interior and sport interior conversion, Vaders, full M-Tech exterior conversion. Hmmm... Black vader seats with Violet center sections, matching rear seats too... If I were to paint one portion of the exterior Daytona Violet, which one should it be? __________________ James 95 active w/leather interior and sport interior conversion, Vaders, full M-Tech exterior conversion. I ran e39 style 42's on both of my e36's in Europe. Had a set on my ti for a little while. Since I've owned the ti, I've had: Original 16" style 18's, DSI's, e39 style 42's, OZ Superleggera's, e39 style 19's, two sets of e39 style 5's and a set of 15" steelies. That's 8 sets of wheels for one car. Heck I've been through three sets of wheels with no engine | | | 11-12-2011, 04:53 PM | #8 | That's not Millpoint Blue Join Date: Apr 2005 Location: BNA Posts: 3,161 | Quote: Originally Posted by wolferj Hmmm... However, if it were something subtle, it could work. I rarely like painted kidney grills like Jess suggested, but and area that small would be OK. I'd almost suggest painting the moldings purple, but I don't think that would look so great either. The problem is that once you put any purple on the outside of the car, you're limited in what other colors you can use on the wheels because a lot of other colors would clash with the purple. __________________ Real men know how to SEARCH!
