Default Just bought my second bimmer tonight..

97 318i.. 180k miles. not like it matters to me engine wise
schwarzII, tan interior, 5 speed

stripping will begin immediately after i pick it up this weekend.
-goodies.. spotless tan interior (leather or pleather??)
-tan dash
-factory CD changer
-tool kit in trunk
-working OBC
-completely 100% unmodified engine bay (yet..hehehe)
etc..etc..

pics when i get it. put a deposit on it tonight to hold it til i can get to the bank.. should be going to get the car for good this weekend.

now i have to order from DDMTuning again.. same exact order that i just placed for the ti.. m3 bumper, splitters, mirrors.. except no fogs on this one since it is a race car.

anyone have any parts requests in advance.. PM me. this thing will be stripped bare and rollcaged with nothing but 2 seats and a dash.

How much for Front and rear seats if your in some kind of shipping distance to Portland Or.

Amtrak or Greyhound are good for stuff this size. Just strap to a pallet and cover with plastic.

And the usual "Pics? " Comment

just a warning, front seats on a sedan don't fold forward to allow access to the rear

it is in my driveway now though.

drove it back home tonight.. bald tires.. a/c comp is bad, obc, cruise, and all the windows work fine.

the tan interior is MINT.. the carpets need shampooed in the back pretty bad, the headliner is gone.. i should be able to clean up the carpets and ge tthem into sellable condition pretty easily. this car will be a self-funder to build it into the racecar position previously held by by Lexus GS300.. same engine though. Single turbo 2jzgte supra engine.

First up.. strip the car. Stitch weld the unibody under hood and the floorboards.

Next up.. 8-10 point rollcage in 1.5" .095" DOM

I already have several parts here or coming for this car... swap outs for my GS that I'm parting out. I have a Sparco Circuit racing seat locked down for me, and working on a Sparco Sprint 5 for the passenger.

The Type 32s will be going on here now since they are staggered, and the BBS RX 17x8 +10s i just bought on BF.c will be going on the Ti.. since they are the same width front to back and i can keep up with my tire rotations

so many plans.. so much to do and the start of the new season is just 3 months away.

So.. who needs what off this 318i? i guess this will become a part out thread
