It is just the outside skin that is made from that cloth. Not the entire frame. So you would be able to survive a crash. __________________

its quite amazing! and ahead of its time. but many people have been talking about doing this for years and also being able to change the colors of the cars at the click of a button.

This car is cool! Doesn't seem very practical but it is an awsome display of technology, and the hood opening sure does look like a GINA haha The question is how durable is this fabric? If it's anything like a convertible top, it won't be that nice for very long. I'd be interested to see pictures of this vehicle without the fabric over it. I wonder how quiet a vehicle like that would be. Also how would it survive a crash? would tree braches poke right thru it and into the cabin? or the engine? | | | | | |
