Default Brake Flush

Can someone write me a quick "brake fluid" flush for me? I'm pretty sure it's simple, but I want to be extra positive. After all, the ti is my dd. So no room for mistakes.

Thanks everyone!

..bleed the brakes...a lot? Just how you would when you do a normal bleed.

When i switched brake fluids went to a diff color, just suck all of it out of the res, and then bleed till you see that color, starting at brake further away from the cylinder. (left rear, right rear, passenger, drivers side)

Ah I see. Just unplug the pin, and let the fluid out. And start pumping the brakes I guess until all the fluid is out? And then, put new fluid in at the same time, and repeat the process?

Thanks Xeno for the quick response. My mechanic suggested that I should do this for a great price. But I would rather do this myself. After all, I can get a quart of brake fluid for $3.50.

don't pump the brakes with the bleeder screw open, that just sucks air into the line

I thought that was what you meant when you said "pin"

the screws are on the calipers, they usually have a rubber cap on them

You sure you want to do this?

It either takes two people or a pressure bleeder.
You do not take off the calipers.

That's what I'm afraid of. I would rather spend 10 hours of reading, and 1 hour work, instead of 1 hour of work, and 10 hours of reading.

I'm really confused now

Yes I'm sure. My mechanic suggested that I do this as soon as possible. I can feel that my brakes are not catching as sharp as I want them to. Brakes are the number 1 importance to me. I would rather have the best brakes in the world rather than the fastest car in the world.

If you get air into the system, you and the car in front will be hating life. Is there no one in your area that could watch over your shoulder?

The bleeder valve.
You need two wrenches. Well actually I think 3 for the front and rear.
