Hello just signed up my name is Brian I live in the Cleveland area, I own a 335i, 328ci and a 318ti. I have been road racing since 1999 (SCCA improved touring). You could certainly build an auto-x'er with that kind of budget, but a track car is going to (obviously) depend on class and how competitive you want to be. There are plenty of threads and information here that I'm sure will be helpful to you....
