Default aww shucks...my hood was damaged

im pissed. I just got my car painted and hail from a bad storm put a dent on the hood. It was golf ball size hail. There are a few small scrapes but it looks like it scraped in the clear coat and not the paint. I'll have to take it to Dents Unlimited. They did a great jobs getting a dent out of my moms car and the'yll probablly wet sand my car too. I had my car cover on but apparently it wasnt enough protection. The cover did help prevent deep scrapes into the paint. But im heading to Lowes Hardware to get some insulation foam board and I'll just have to put the foam on my car under my car cover whenever there is sign of a storm. This is the second time in about 3 weeks we've seen hail in the storms. The first time it did no damage.

i have a small dent on my hood too that i would imagine is about the same size as yours, but mine was made by my friend sitting on the hood. i think i am gonna try to take off the black backing and try to pop it out myself from behind. unfortunately its on the crease of the hood, which could make things difficult.

im glad your car wasnt damaged I wasnt so lucky. What makes it so bad, it was damaged in the crease on the hood. Im not sure if they can get that out. I hope I dont have to end up getting another hood and paint it.

yup it can be difficult in the crease. It depends on how deep the dent is.
