Default Transmission mount?

I have an automatic. When I put the car into D from park or neutral with the brake on, the back of the car drops down about an inch and comes back up if I go back to park or neutral.

Is this normal? Do I have a bad transmission mount?

Mine does that too, and from other people's accounts, it seems to be normal.

On a side note, I just put brand new stock transmission mounts in my automatic car. They actually do make a bit of difference. There's just a more solid feeling to the car. I can't really put my finger on exactly what it is though. I was amazed at how squishy the old ones were. Tomorrow I will check to see if they reduced the squat at all.
