I always look at your setup and am still puzzled how there are so many lines/hoses from the intake manifold and all around; always wonder what each line is needed for. Whenever I go visit Florida your house is going to be a stop to visit. Got a lot of saving to do it right | Yeah, mine went over time and over budget. You can probably save a lot of money if you do some of the work yourself. You're pretty resourceful. 800+ bhp would be awesome. You'll need to figure out a way on how to transfer the power to the ground. I'm having trouble with 450bhp. I didn't do the work on my car, but if I can help out in any way, let me know. | | | 09-14-2010, 07:01 PM | #11 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2007 Location: Gulfport, Florida Posts: 3,208 | Quote: Originally Posted by RAiMA Yeah, mine went over time and over budget. With slicks I think I will have a bunch of broken driveline parts. I just want the power to be there so I can play with it. I will do all work on this motor except machine work that I don't have the tools or knowledge to complete correctly. I'm not sure what body style I will put it in yet. | | | 09-14-2010, 10:01 PM | #12 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2007 Location: asdfasdf Posts: 10,002 | Quote: Originally Posted by xxxJohnBoyxxx I don't have those installed. I put the bling on that cheap PVC before I used it for the first time I only use one shock on the carbon trunk to save weight Last edited by xxxJohnBoyxxx; 09-15-2010 at 01:50 AM. | | | 09-16-2010, 04:56 AM | #14 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2004 Location: Sydney, Australia Posts: 593 | Quote: Originally Posted by xxxJohnBoyxxx 800hp isn't going to the ground unless I'm over 75mph. Will be fun I'm looking for a 2.93 diff to hopefully stop wheel spin in 2nd. Will help with the 0-60 mph run and 1/4 mile. | | | 09-17-2010, 08:55 AM | #15 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2007 Location: Gulfport, Florida Posts: 3,208 | Quote: Originally Posted by RAiMA That would be a 4th gear run. I run a 3.23 right now feather 1st and hard shift can burn all of 2nd gear at 20psi. | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
