Default blowing fuel pumps?

my ti started running rough, sometimes onto 3 cylinders, done all the plugs and leads etc to no avail, found out then that the fuel pump had stopped working, changed that and it ran perfect for a day, then continued to get worse, just checked and the pump is no longer working. what could cause the fuel pump to blow or the misfire.Could it be a injector issue?
thanks, niall

A fuel pump does not just stop working one day, and then work again the next. Once they go, they are a bad unit and will not run at all. So if you just installed a new one I highly doubt that it would be the issue, now.

When you changed the pump, did you also replace the fuel filter?

Start with your fuel filter, slight chance that it may be clogged and not getting fuel from the pump into the cylinders. if that is good, you may have a bad injector clogged up or something.

Most likely your issue is fuel related.

Fuel pump relay. Did you check for voltage when the pump was not runing and you thought it was bad? Next time the pump is not running check for voltage to the pump to ensure your relay is good. If no voltage the relay is most like bad. For location let me know and I will post a picture of fuse box with relay marked...
