Default need help..95 325..into my 98 ti...

my engine went on me due to intake manifold braking and goin into the head and messing up everything....
dont have the time and money to go buy another motor and i already have a 95 325 engine...

i need some help figuring this thing out i been doin some research but havet found alot... i would apreciate your help i realy want my ti back on the road fast.. engine is half way out alreay..just need information about the obd1 to obd2 situation..i read about abs and traction cntrol not wrkn when doing the swap..not realy woried about it also inspection i can manage to get it inspected and pass....so guys please help me out

you will have to take EVERYTHING out and put EVERYTHING from the other car in.... Simple as that.... There is no bypass on sensors or computers to have interchangeable electronics. You are better off just doing the swap with a same year or newer engine.

Ive done it and did a write up about it on BF.c. All you need is the engine, red-label DME or just cut the EWS wire, which happens anyways, and some very light wiring work and youre done. Ive done this swap on two OBDII cars with OBDI engines, an OBDI car with OBDI engine, and now doing an OBDII BMW chassis with OBDII Corvette engine.

Its only available on bf.c because the mods here have issues with it.

My 1996 Ti has a 325is motor, does that mean that it is an older engine?

yes, they made the 325 until 1995, then they switched to the 323 and 328
