I'm pulling my automatic and can seperate the engine and trans by about 2 inches, but it apears to hanging on the starter. I triple checked that the starter bolts are removed and have tried prying it off. Any ideas? | | | 03-17-2009, 03:39 AM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2005 Location: Richmond Hill, GA Posts: 1,231 | did you remove both blots securing it to the tranny? | | | 03-17-2009, 03:57 AM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2004 Location: Minneapolis Posts: 1,587 | Just got it guys!! It was just seized to the transmission. I jabbed a large flat head screwdriver in there and it loosened a bit. Then I grabbed the whole unit and shook it hard a few times. | | | 03-17-2009, 05:33 AM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2008 Location: Raleigh/Charlotte, NC Posts: 1,233 | was going to suggest that, but looks like you got it! __________________ -Jeff | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
