I knew about the problem when I first got the car and just learned to do one at a time, but last night a friend of mine did it again (hasnt happened for a few months now) and I figured I should probably look into it as it is kind of an annoying problem. Anyways I was hoping someone here might know something about it while I go buy some new fuses... | | | 07-13-2009, 08:47 PM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2005 Location: Florida Posts: 2,525 | Have you verified that the proper fuse is in that location? Having a fuse that is 5 amps to small can result in the fuse blowing. | | | 07-13-2009, 09:10 PM | #3 | Junior Member Join Date: May 2008 Location: Redondo Beach.CA Posts: 24 | I was just looking online ( http://wedophones.com/Manuals/BMW/19...g%20Manual.pdf) and it seems that I need 30A for #14....the mechanic I had got the car from said just leave the 15A to be safe I should really try to find my own manual...but this is correct then? I need to stick a 30A fuse in there? | | | 07-13-2009, 09:23 PM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2007 Location: asdfasdf Posts: 10,002 | yes, that's probably the problem, a lower amperage fuse will blow easier | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
