Is it advisable to add pressure to the rear tires due to about 400lbs of cargo I am moving about 1300 miles? Most of the weight is centered between the rear wheels. I am running 35 PSI front and rear with 225/40/18’s Total weight is a little of 600lbs including me. __________________ 318ti, sport, hellrot, 05/95 Munich, Germany | | | 05-14-2007, 01:07 AM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2006 Location: Central NJ Posts: 2,440 | I don't think 400 lbs will affect the car much. I frequently carry 600+ pounds of people in my car (passengers) and the car feels similar (albeit slower) with them in it... but handling is similar. | | | 05-14-2007, 03:20 AM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: state college, pa Posts: 3,431 | I usually add a few lbs when I've got it loaded up. Helps with tire wear. __________________ I scream, you scream, we all scream for ZOMBIES. | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
