Question Offset Help

I just picked up a set of 3 piece wheels that I plan on refinishing but i dont see any markings on them specifying the offset. I want to add wider lips but im not sure how wide i can go or what their current offsets are. They are 9 inches wide. The barrels are 7.5" and the lips are 1.5". Can anyone tell me what the offset would be?

Thanks!

I believe that would make them 19mm offset

thanks tifreak. what do you think is the widest lip i would be able to run without any problems? or would i have to switch to 6'' barrels in order to accommodate for wider lips?

Are you being serious? We don't even know what kind of wheels they are.

Just measure the offset yourself.

They are 17'' AC Schnitzer Type 2 racing wheels. The centers come straight down on the front side of the outer lip. so when they are put together it goes barrel, then outer lip then the center screwed in on top (inside the outer lip).

So there is a 3'' difference between the center face and width/2 giving me a 76mm offset. I dont think these are going to fit haha

Have you tried bolting them to the car to see where they sit?

I figured it was just the measurement from the edge of the barrel to the face, now that I think of it I forgot to account for the center part of the rim where the bolts go sticking in farther
