I have a 96 ti. Today I started the car and had it sitting for a bit warming up outside(it was 15 degrees F here this morning). When I got back in the car after grabbing my cuppa java, I smelled a strong odor of burning rubber inside the cabin. I had set the ventilation system on low fan speed. As soon as I started driving, the smell went away.
I suspect that the fan is pulling some odor in from the engine compartment since the car is not moving. As soon as I drive, the air pulls the smell out and away and not into the cabin.

Just had microfilters replaced and engine belts. But I smelled this before the service too, sporadically.

Any ideas?
