Is the front sway bar of a 325 bigger than ours? It will fit, right? | | | 01-11-2006, 07:52 AM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2004 Location: Florida Posts: 1,595 | another question, will it offset my suspension? Do I have to get the front and rear sway bars or can I just upgrade the front and leave the rear stock. | | | 01-11-2006, 08:21 AM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2004 Location: Minneapolis Posts: 1,587 | realoem.com says the 318ti has 25mm & 26mm front bars (base & sport respectively) The 325i lists a few ranging from 22.5mm to 25mm. So... It seems that the base 318ti has at least as big of a bar than the 325i | | | 01-11-2006, 01:33 PM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2005 Location: Asheville NC Posts: 669 | Quote: Originally Posted by CirrusSR22 realoem.com says the 318ti has 25mm & 26mm front bars (base & sport respectively) The 325i lists a few ranging from 22.5mm to 25mm. I'll go look at my friend's parts car (325i) in a few days and try to take some measurements. | | | 01-16-2006, 12:52 AM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2004 Location: Minneapolis Posts: 1,587 | No, it only shows the diameter | | | 01-16-2006, 01:16 AM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2005 Location: Great White North! Only the M3 and MZ3 have different links They bolt on to the struts instead of the control arms. The first production E36s up until 5/92 had the links bolt on to the struts. As of 6/92 the struts and links are different.
