I'm finally finishing up my CCFL angel eyes today. The harness I got from Understeer, has a wire to make the halos dimm with the interior lights. Where can I connect that wire, under the hood, to make the halos dimm with the interior lights? __________________

There's nothing to really show. If you ever wired Angel eyes, you know there are two wires that tap into the corner lights. Only one is actually needed, and all I now have connected. Chris at Understeer said if I wire the other to the same place the interior lights are dimmed, the halos will also dimm. Not sure where in the engine bay to find the dimmer wire. Don't want to run the wire through the firewall to do this, not that big a deal to me. Here is a picture of my HID's and Halos. I will take a night shot later. There is a gray/red wire Mr. Stygar used to wire his illuminated shift knob, I imagine that it runs somewhere under the fuse box, but that it'd be a bother to find. __________________

You could, i wouldn't, tap off of the radio harness for the rheostat(sp?). I wouldn't just because of running that wire. I wouldn't think that there would be any wire for that in the engine bay, so you may need to run a lead into the passenger compartment. I would rather hook it directly up to the rheostat(dimmer). If I could see a car and harness schematic that would help too. | | | | |
