Default Front Wipers Malfunctioning

Hi,

My front windscreen was covered with a layer of snow and I accidently ran the wipers. It sweeped the snow away but from that point on, the wipers now etiher parks in the middle of the screen instead of parking at their right place or park near the bottom after going about an inch down and then back up. I've dissambled the wiper arms and manually adjusted too but it works for a little while and then back to the same problem.
Reading about the similar problems in the forum, I've realized that it could either be the relay or the wiper control module. Are they the same thing? Where are they located and how to access them? The wiper control module is supposedly behind the glove compartment. How do I reach it?

Thanks!

you may have burned the motor out a little bit with the strain of pushing the snow

you have to open your glove box and look for the screws around the edges, the box will slide out.

you sure you didn't just strip a few of the threads off the linkage? I did this by trying to knock ice off mine without pulling over, and catching it on the upswing

or like pauly said, you could have put too much strain on the motor.

Its not too difficult to replace the assembly, I did it. Think I only paid $150 for the parts.
