BertrandP102 Junior Member Join Date: May 2024 Location: MA Posts: 1 iTrader: (0) Photo Gallery	1995 318i M42 removal of serpentine belt help Hi, I'm new to BMW's but not new to cars. I'm trying to ultimately remove a leaky power steering pump, but I have to release the belt first. I (believe) I found the tensioner, but when I turn it (16mm socket) it doesn't release it enough for me to get the belt off the pulley. Can anyone suggest what I'm doing wrong? I turned it pretty hard, but I stopped for fear of going to far. Any help would be appreciated. Paul
