Wish I found you guys sooner. Any suggestions for junk yards to keep my active 96 looking good. Especially of interest now is a window track mechanism. (sure this has been a big search item) Appreciate any suggestions, and put up with this rookie till I get my feet under me. | | | 06-06-2012, 08:04 AM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2012 Location: Chicago Posts: 172 | I am in the woodridge-bolingbrook area. let me know if I can help.. I have attached 1 link of possiblities for you. I dont suspect you will find alot of used parts for this car in the local bone yards. Search this forum and you will find answers to many if not all of your questions. There's a pick n pull in wadsworth - by the Wi border. Last walk through they had an e36/m44 coupe. It's been there a while - probably crushed or very picked over by now. pnp keeps an on online inventory that's pretty well up to date. The ti specific parts can get tough. If I had the space I wouldn't mind having a donor laying around (but then I'd probably just want to fix it too). | | | 06-08-2012, 01:12 AM | #4 | Junior Member Join Date: Jun 2012 Location: Chi-Town Posts: 9 | thank you Grampa and oldtin. P&P Hammond was a great find on a 97 that was there 7 day before me. Pretty over by the time I got to it but scored 2 very lightly used seats, and 2 door panels. The window regulators were gone but the inner door panels were a need and they pulled them off gingerly. I'll keep lookning at the P&P and again thanks for the assist. -Thecowe | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
