Posts: 3,156 | You now need to wire by-pass the EWS module. PM me and I can send you a couple images to help you. PLEASE DON'T SHARE IT as it allows any E36 BMW to have the EWS bypassed... | | | 01-19-2009, 07:27 PM | #3 | Junior Member Join Date: Jan 2009 Location: mcguire afb Posts: 12 | thanks for the help.Next duz anyone know where the unederloader relay and the ecm relay are? | | | 01-20-2009, 01:13 AM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2006 Location: 43609 Posts: 3,425 | Best of luck to you! I have pics in my thread of OBDII to OBDI, EWSII to EWS0 (none) and doesnt require you to touch the EWS units or buy an EWS delete chip. Also, if everything is done properly, check the crank position sensor for fault. Also, are you sure you have the correct lines setup in the engine bay? Its not hard to get them mixed up and ground a hot lead or vice versa. __________________ 1995 Hellrot Clubsport 318ti -Gone 1996 Schwartz II Sport 357ti - 5.7L V8 LS1/6 1997 Moregrun Metallic 318ti - Gone 1998 Schwartz II sport 318ti - M50TUB25/5 | | | 01-22-2009, 07:48 PM | #5 | Junior Member Join Date: Jan 2009 Location: mcguire afb Posts: 12 | thanx for the info so i guess w o a crank sensor the car wont activate the fuel pump or coils. and how many wires are positive i only have 1 hot wire and I belive 3 wires grounded.the 3 grounded showd no sighn of red any where on them. | | | 01-23-2009, 01:46 AM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2006 Location: 43609 Posts: 3,425 | __________________ 1995 Hellrot Clubsport 318ti -Gone 1996 Schwartz II Sport 357ti - 5.7L V8 LS1/6 1997 Moregrun Metallic 318ti - Gone 1998 Schwartz II sport 318ti - M50TUB25/5 | | | 01-23-2009, 04:18 PM | #7 | Junior Member Join Date: Jan 2009 Location: mcguire afb Posts: 12 | wow thanx for that info haha so a black wire is a positive in bmw eyes haha ill cut the sheeth off to see red hopefuly. | | | 01-24-2009, 01:03 PM | #8 | Junior Member Join Date: Jan 2009 Location: mcguire afb Posts: 12 | Well cut into the black wire yesterday to find a red wire, put it to the positive terminal and the car started like a dream.ill be finishing the car up 2 day/night then its off to the exhaust shop then dyno tune. | | | 01-24-2009, 03:44 PM | #9 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2006 Location: 43609 Posts: 3,425 | Congrats! __________________ 1995 Hellrot Clubsport 318ti -Gone 1996 Schwartz II Sport 357ti - 5.7L V8 LS1/6 1997 Moregrun Metallic 318ti - Gone 1998 Schwartz II sport 318ti - M50TUB25/5 | | | 01-24-2009, 05:33 PM | #10 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2007 Location: Damascus, Maryland Posts: 434 | Quote: Originally Posted by basracer85 Well cut into the black wire yesterday to find a red wire, put it to the positive terminal and the car started like a dream.ill be finishing the car up 2 day/night then its off to the exhaust shop then dyno tune. | Then take/post pictures! __________________ | | | 02-02-2009, 02:19 AM | #11 | Junior Member Join Date: Jan 2009 Location: mcguire afb Posts: 12 | ok so got the turbo hung and got a new oil pan w a 10 an fitting welded in.Im just trying to find time to replace the oil pan turns out this job is a longer proces than takeing off 20 something bolts and lowering the pan.pictures are come'n soon.Any one know what a stock m50 can hold b4 it blows up.im thinkin 6psi d/d and 14psi race tuned at 14psi | | | 02-02-2009, 02:31 AM | #12 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2006 Location: 43609 Posts: 3,425 | 1 bar __________________ 1995 Hellrot Clubsport 318ti -Gone 1996 Schwartz II Sport 357ti - 5.7L V8 LS1/6 1997 Moregrun Metallic 318ti - Gone 1998 Schwartz II sport 318ti - M50TUB25/5 | | | 02-08-2009, 08:35 PM | #13 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2008 Location: England Posts: 102 | Really would love to see pictures of the turbo setup . | | | 02-13-2009, 08:19 PM | #14 | Junior Member Join Date: Jan 2009 Location: mcguire afb Posts: 12 | pictures will be posted soon.need to get the camera from my girl freind.it should be going to muflex soon. for the i/c piping and the 3 inch exhaust. | | | 02-18-2009, 06:51 PM | #15 | Junior Member Join Date: Jan 2009 Location: mcguire afb Posts: 12 | put some pics in my profile.there not the best cell phone pics. | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
