Default Swap trouble

hello new to the site and have hit a wall in my engine swap I have a 1995 Ti and am swaping in a vanos m50 w a T3/T4 turbo the engine is from a 95 325is and has the red label 514 dme.I have the engine in and ready to run but the starter turns over.how ever there is no spark and no fuel.I bought a chip from vac to bypass my ews2 installed the chip and cut the pin #8 in the harness.And i still have the same story then a freind told me to unplug the ews unit under the glove box and jump 2 wires i cant remmeber the wire colors.then to unplug the ews unit under the steering wheel.diid all that and I still have a car that the starter turns over but no fuel pressure or spark.Any help would be greatly apreciated.

You now need to wire by-pass the EWS module.

PM me and I can send you a couple images to help you.

PLEASE DON'T SHARE IT as it allows any E36 BMW to have the EWS bypassed...

Best of luck to you! I have pics in my thread of OBDII to OBDI, EWSII to EWS0 (none) and doesnt require you to touch the EWS units or buy an EWS delete chip. Also, if everything is done properly, check the crank position sensor for fault. Also, are you sure you have the correct lines setup in the engine bay? Its not hard to get them mixed up and ground a hot lead or vice versa.

thanx for the info so i guess w o a crank sensor the car wont activate the fuel pump or coils. and how many wires are positive i only have 1 hot wire and I belive 3 wires grounded.the 3 grounded showd no sighn of red any where on them.

wow thanx for that info haha so a black wire is a positive in bmw eyes haha ill cut the sheeth off to see red hopefuly.

Well cut into the black wire yesterday to find a red wire,put it to the positive terminal and the car started like a dream.ill be finishing the car up 2 day/night then its off to the exhaust shop then dyno tune.

ok so got the turbo hung and got a new oil pan w a 10 an fitting welded in.Im just trying to find time to replace the oil pan turns out this job is a longer proces than takeing off 20 something bolts and lowering the pan.pictures are come'n soon.Any one know what a stock m50 can hold b4 it blows up.im thinkin 6psi d/d and 14psi race tuned at 14psi
