I used an E92 ///M3 as inspiration for the front end but pretty much did from the doors back by hand (and it probably shows lol). Just thought I'd share this with the ti community. | | | 03-24-2010, 07:38 PM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Greenville, SC Posts: 9,356 | Might have started with a E46 M Coupe first. __________________ ...steven BMW CCA #146825 1996 BMW 328ti • 2003 MINI Cooper S • 2016 M235i www.bmwcca.org | | | 03-24-2010, 07:53 PM | #3 | Member Join Date: Oct 2009 Location: Virginia Posts: 80 | Quote: Originally Posted by 1996 328ti Might have started with a E46 M Coupe first. | There's already an E46 ti isn't there? i just figured I'd do the most current one first. I don't think it looks bad, not as good as the original and could do with some improvement, I'll admit that my artwork is not as good as it could be and probably doesn't do the concept justice. I think it's cool to speculate about what models would look like if BMW had continued making them (i.e. M1 concept etc.) I'm gonna work on an E30 and E46 next, who knows? maybe BMW will see the light and bring the ti back with all this eco/FWD talk (although god help them if they bring back the ti and make it FWD). | | | 03-25-2010, 06:31 AM | #10 | Member Join Date: Oct 2009 Location: Virginia Posts: 80 | Quote: Originally Posted by Maverix *dreams of a 335ti* | Fixed. | | | 03-25-2010, 08:42 AM | #11 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2008 Location: Austin Posts: 3,059 | Nah, I like 1 design better than the 3. __________________ Come get a ti-shirt Quote: From the e30 M3, evolved the e36.
