heat shield that goes above the exhaust after the transmission. __________________

most likely the bolts just backed out because someone didnt tighten them properly, had anything under there replaced recently? __________________

I'd just say rocks and crap thrown off the road will mess it up. Some of the bolts holding mine on have torn through the heat shield. If you get under there you can probably find some way to keep it up and in place. __________________ ~Dave~

The heat shield corrodes around the bolt. Just use a thin but wide washer underneath the bolt. __________________

So I go over to my dad's house today so I can lift the car and re-affix the heat shield (which went fine) and my passenger side front caliper starts locking up, so now that need to be replaced. I tell ya, with these cars, when it rains, it pours. =( __________________ | | | | |
