Angry Cigarette lighter

Any ne got any ideas...my cig lighter works fine Well it gets hot and it lights my fags!..the problem is that no elec stuff seems to work in it..my phone charger..no joy...the ipod one is tempremental..i have to wiggle it about and move it from side to side to get it to work..then 1st bump i hit it turns off again!

Deja Vu...........

I had a similar problem. Cigarette lighter worked, cell phone charger didn't. Buy a new receptacle. I just got one from the dealer, about $5.00.

common prob in all cars, i work for a motorstore, and were always bending the prongs back out for the lighter to work, it seems sat navs are the culprit, the previous owners of the cars bend the prongs in so they stay on.

Mines the other way round - chargers works for tomtom etc. but cig lighter doesn't work. Not that bothered as I rarely smoke.
