I have the Alpine CDA-9851. It is a similar headunit to the one you are interested in purchasing. You will need the Alpine KCA 420i Ipod control interface adaptor to use your ipod with this headunit. The Alpine KCA 420i Ipod control interface adaptor hooks up to the headunit like a cd changer and you then control the ipod through you headunit via the face place. You will not be able to control the ipod itself while it is hooked up to the adaptor. The adaptor will also charge your ipod. |
