Andrew,
I would try replacing the valve cover gasket including the ones that go around the spark plug holes. This may cure your problem with the oil in the spark plug hole. Clean off the plugs, check/clean the injectors and lastly, run an injector cleaner or even seafoam. The compression check being higher on #2 than #3 and #4 in encouraging. This fix will cost less than 50 bucks if you do it yourself. I would definitely do this before removing the head. |
