I have to say I go on a few BF.c meets in my area and they are OK, but they tend to be cross-forum meets, and so far pretty much everyone has been very respectful of my car, again, I don't really visit the other areas of the board quite as much. I think someone else said on the other thread - the specialist areas are useful, the 'general' areas are a bit crap. Mind you I know/use several forums where that is the case. I think you just have to assume that there are a lot of dickheads on the net and set your filter to screen them out. Otherwise you end up going mental.
ETA... ohhh wait a second I didn't realise BF.com and BF.co.uk are different sites... in which case disregard what I said!
