HI All. Just joined and I am coming from the e30 swapped with an S50 world.

I am loving my ti, but it is leaking oil like a mad thing! Its either leaking or burning, but when I lifted the car, there are oil streaks on the exhaust all the way past the CAT! I smell burnt oil coming to a stop on an off ramp from the freeway.

Symptoms: I think it happens (leaks/burns) more over 3.5krpm. And also, my accelerator pedal seems to have some kind of light oscillating vibration above 3.5krpm as well. I think that the issues may be related.

Car: 1996 318Ti; 310k miles. Just bought it a couple months ago.

What I have Done: Throttle Pos Sensor; CCV replacement; Inspected the Valve Cover (completely dry all around the head); and I bought the oil filter housing gasket.

I think it is more than the oil filter housing gasket because of that weird accel pedal vibration going 80 on the highway.

I will post pics when I lift it up again so you all can see. Help me out here.
