I'm in this same camp. I've lusted over the Supersprint exhaust since I owned my E30 17 years ago. I settled on the Scorpion cat back in 2004, and loved the sound. However, that was the M20B25. M44B19 sound is different, and avoiding the fart-can sound I frequently hear in SoCal is premium.
However, I agree, Supersprint, Eisenmann sound good... But $$$. I'm also exploring Ulter exhausts, which I know little about (picture attached).
