Thanks for the shipping info guys. Jess, I'm going to check that out that uship website when I get done crating up this engine. Here is a pic showing the engine sitting on a standard 48"x32" pallet from the Home Depot ($15). There is 2 4x4's under each of the motor mounts, this gives a good height since all of the weight of the engine isn't sitting on the oil pan. I'll post agiain when I make more progress. I'm probably just going to use some ratchet straps to hold it down to the pallet and screw the mounts to the 4x4's. I'm also going to brace the engine to the pallet from the back of the engine using some of the bellhousing bolt holes. I think shipping company may prefer to have this in a crate and not just laying on a pallet, but I'm not sure about that now...
