I did some repairs to mine not long ago. I used some J.B. Weld (Kwik version) and it's holding up really well. But, it'll depend on what sort of issue your shelf has. Mine was broken in places that didn't have too much of the fuzzy covering in the way so the epoxy got a good hold.
