I got a 95 318ti with a blown engine. My car is a manual and the engine I got from the salvage yard came out of an automatic. both engines are E36 4cyl.
When I got the engine mounted I notice the wiring harness was different from my manual harness. I wired as many wires as I could hoping that it would work but my theory was wrong
The car doesn't want to start I know its the wiring, but I just dont know what to do from here.
Do I have to buy a different harness for my car because of the engine coming out of an automatic?
I NEED help.
Has anyone done such a swap and how did you solve this.
