I've painted several cars, changing colors on all of them. It's hard work to change colors and get it to look right. The only success I had was with a dark grey 7 series that I painted silver. Taping the doors and hood/trunk insides left clean lines where the color transition was looked good. You couldn't do that with 2 very different colors. I'd stick with the same color unless you want to tear the whole car down and do it right (big $) |
