Default FS: campaiar 1995 Black 325ti Conversion

Up for sale is my 325ti conversion. With my second ti conversion completed, its time to part ways with the 325ti. This car has been in its converted state since last November 2006 and has run perfect. I used this car as my daily driver since I've owned it. I would not hesitate to drive this car across the country.

I preformed all of the modifications to the drivetrain myself and can give you any amount of detail you would like to hear. Additional details below.

Chassis:
The chassis is a 1995 318ti, active model. The chassis has 185k miles as shown on the instrument cluster. The car is Cosmos Black with Sport ti wheels. The body has its share of dings and marks. There was a repair made under the passenger side tail light before I took ownership that is pretty rough, however it never bothered me enough to have it redone.

The chassis comes with working power windows, sun roof, keyless entry/oem security system with two fobs and OBC. The interior is great condition full black leather with a leather wrapped steering wheel. The driver's seat shows a little wear but certainly doesn't show 185k miles worth. The interiors only fault is the headliner sag, the rest will not dissappoint.

Engine:
The engine is a M50, 2.5 Non-Vanos 6-cyl from a 1992 325is. The engine was pulled from a running car that was being parted out. The engine has 119k miles on it, the last 15k were put on while in the ti. The exhaust is a M3 cat section with custom piping to a OEM ti muffler. Below is a list of parts that were replaced when the engine went in:

Valve Cover w/spark plug gromments
Radiator
Waterpump
Thermostat
Thermostat housing (Metal) & gasket
Belts
Radiator hoses
Vacuum hoses
Plugs
Intake Plenum
Exhaust Gaskets (manifold to cats)
Air & fuel filter
A/C Dryer

The only lingering item from the engine swap is the tach. The instrument cluster is the original unit and reads abnormally high with the 6-cyl up front. Better than reading abnormally low in my opinion.

Trans:
The trans is a 1997 318ti Getrag unit from Panzer_M. I picked up the unit from him when he was parting his car. The shift lever is a OEM 318ti unit. Below is a list parts that were replaced when the trans went in:

Front Seal
UUC Stainless Clutch Line
All shifter bushings and yellow washers
Mobil 1 Synthetic ATF

The only lingering item from the trans swap is the lack of a clutch switch. In otherwords, the car can be started without depressing the clutch pedal. You'll only forget once.

Audio:
The sony headunit and 10-disk changer in the hatch were installed when I purchased the car. The cassette headunit controls the changer. The headunit has a removable face and the case is included. Both units perform flawlessly. The originial head unit, security code and manual are also available.

I have a healthy stack of repair bills from the previous owner as well. The only highlight is new shocks and struts since the rest deals with engine maintenance that doesn't really matter anymore.

I have all the original manuals and build sheet along with the originial BMW cassette tape for your listening pleasure. Please feel free to ask any and all questions. This car is priced to be removed from my driveway quickly.

$5,500.00
