Didn't do the wiring myself, but the shop that did ran a lead back to the fuse box so that the halos are on any time the ignition is on, and is independent of the parking lights. I'll take a look at it later and see if I can tell where they ran the lead.

Thanks! I plan to break out the Bentley manual and check for a candidate in the fuse box, so if you could take a peek and report as well, I's appreciate it just to confirm a power source point easier than another relay.
