 Started the work
Well the head is off and is shot. There is a hole beside one of the exhaust valves. (never seen that before)
The shop currently has liquid in the cylinders to see if any passes by the rings this weekend. I am a little concerned about the block from the heat but do not have a huge budget.
Obviously I am gonna have to find a head for it. If not the whole D*&% engine.
Now I am wondering if the money I spend will be worth it even though I just bought the car put on a sport front end, new wheels/tires and a complete body restoration with carbon black BMW color.
Its beautiful until you open the hood. |
