When you say similar to F1, I'm curious what you mean. I assume you just mean dual A-arms because there is nothing ideal at all about F1 suspension on something that resembles a road car?
Anyway, sounds like a great project. Like I said, I’d love to do the same.
Pdxmotorhead, keep in mind that the competition at that time was also mostly using semi-trailing arm suspension as well. E30 guys are so hung up on what BMW did 20 years ago that they fail to see the progression made since then.
