Yes, the picture is from an E36/7, but if you look at where the ICV mounts on the throttle body, it doesn't look like there would be adequate clearance between the ICV and blower if it were a 180* bend. I know that DASC's will all mount to either M42 or M44 intakes/heads, but I was thinking that the M44 throttle body (ICV mount on the TB, rather than under the intake manifold) might have been the reason for the 135* vs. 180* elbow.
Again, I don't know this is as fact, which is why I was hoping someone with an M44 DASC could chime in. __________________
