We used the GTC300 on our Miata race car and had it 10" off the trunk which put it about 6" below the top of the hard top. We had to have it higher at first but developed a vortex generator for the top of the hardtop which helped keep the air stuck to the glass which not only lowered drag a bit but it allowed me to mount the wing lower without affecting the downforce, which also lowered the drag. Between the two we picked up a bit of time afterwards as well. |
