don't really remember the throttle cable being that difficult a job other than popping out that clip in the firewall.... a hammer and a screwdriver and some anger got that thing out quick.

I honestly can't remember the position of the clip though... i would think it would point "up" in the direction the the cable would naturally go. In reality though, I can't see it really mattering.
