I'd say your fix is good for a temp solution but you'll definitely want to strip the end of the wire and crimp a new connection on it soon
the pulley right next to the two on the alternator is the tensioner, use a flathead to pry the plastic cover off of it, then you can stick a socket on it, I don't remember what size the socket is though |
