Just be sure the engine is fully warmed up before you enjoy the motor, which may be a few minutes after the temperature needle is vertical, and be careful when it is wet. (I assume you are expert on snow. )

The engine has more than enough torque around its torque maximum (4500 for the M42, 4300 for the M44) to break lose the rear tires on wet pavement – even in third. Too many drivers, here, forget this and end up rotating the car into things. We don't want that to happen to your car, even if it presently has a vacuum leak.
